Kyle Edberg, CPA, MS Tax
Kyle grew up in the Seattle area and is a graduate of Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. He has been licensed as a CPA since 1994 and holds a masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. He is a member of the AICPA, the WSCPA, and is a current member and past president of the Tri-Cities Estate Planning Council.
Kyle began his career in downtown Seattle with one of the largest regional firms in western Washington and practiced there for nearly ten years. In 2002 he relocated to the Tri-Cities and practiced locally for sixteen years before joining Account Sense.
Kyle’s practice consists of tax return preparation and planning for a broad variety of clients. He prepares tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts & estates. Kyle has represented clients before the IRS, consulted with taxpayers and attorneys in divorce cases including as an expert witness, and has performed business consultation and valuation services. Industries Kyle has enjoyed serving include real estate development and management, construction contractors, service industries, manufacturing, agriculture, wineries, and commercial fishermen.
Kyle and his wife Melissa live in Kennewick with their Australian Labradoodle Cinder. Outside of work Kyle is an active member of Columbia Center Rotary, currently serving as chair of the membership committee and on the foundation and treasurer’s committees. He also serves as treasurer on the board of the Emmaus Counseling Center in Richland. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golf, technology, Seattle Mariners baseball, and classic cars (especially his 1967 Mercury Cougar).
